Description
We picked up a batch of Apex Action Enhancement Triggers for the Springfield Hellcat and Hellcat Pro that came back from anodizing with a deep, dark red matte finish. The color wasn’t what we ordered, but the metal and the dimensions are exactly to spec. That means you get the same mechanical performance as the standard trigger — smoother pull, shorter reset, crisp break — at a steep discount. These are blemished on the surface only, and once they’re gone, they won’t be restocked.
Living on the Florida coast means humidity, salt air, and sweat are part of your daily carry reality. That dark red matte finish isn’t just a look — it’s anodized, which adds a layer of corrosion resistance that bare aluminum or cheap coatings just can’t match. This trigger won’t rust or pit after a day at the beach, a rainy walk to the car, or a summer spent carrying AIWB. It’s built to hold up to the environment you actually live in.
What’s in the kit:
- Apex Action Enhancement Trigger
- Apex Trigger Return Spring
- Apex Striker Spring
What it does for your Hellcat or Hellcat Pro:
- Drop-in replacement for the factory polymer trigger and springs — no fitting, no filing, no gunsmith needed
- Smoother pull with reduced travel and a shorter, more positive reset
- Crisp break with a pull weight of 5.0 to 5.5 lbs after the break-in period
- Factory safety values are maintained — your gun stays drop-safe
Blem details you should know:
- These are cosmetic blemishes only — the triggers measure within Apex’s usual mechanical tolerances
- Each trigger is laser-marked with a small line to indicate it’s a blem. That line is not visible once the trigger is installed and the slide is on the frame
- Color may differ slightly from what you see on your screen due to monitor calibration differences
- Sale is final on blem items. If you damage the trigger during installation, we will replace it with another blem trigger if we have stock. If we’re out, our customer service team may have other options to offer
- Once these are sold out, they will not be restocked
Type 3 trigger differences (compared to the classic Hellcat triggers):
- Chamfer at the front corners instead of a radius — a slightly different
