Machined from heat-treated, premium button rifled steel barrel blanks, this barrel offers consistent accuracy shot after shot. The 1:10” twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 9mm ammunition, from standard FMJ practice rounds to defensive hollow points. The 1/2-28 thread pattern is the industry standard, giving you broad compatibility with most popular suppressors, compensators, and muzzle devices. A thread protector with a captive O-Ring is included, keeping the threads clean and protected when not in use.
Living on the Florida coast means humidity, salt air, and constant moisture exposure. That is why this barrel features a melonite finish. This treatment hardens the surface and resists corrosion far better than standard bluing or parkerizing. Your barrel stays protected from rust and wear, even after a day at the beach or a humid range session. It also reduces friction, which can help with smoother cycling and easier cleaning.
Drop-in fitment — no fitting required. This barrel is designed to install directly into your factory slide without any modification. Just swap it out and you are ready. However, if your slide has a Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI), you will need to either remove it completely or install the Apex No Profile Loaded Chamber Indicator Block (sold separately). This ensures proper clearance and reliable function.
