The Apex magazine for the SA-35 replaces that factory 15-round magazine and gives you a choice of 17 or 19 rounds, using specially modified Mec-Gar bodies that Apex tunes specifically for the Springfield Armory SA-35 pistol. This isn’t a generic “fits most” part — it’s built for your gun.
Living on the Florida coast means humidity, salt air, and sweat are constant threats to your gear. That’s why this magazine is available in two corrosion-resistant finishes: Black Oxide or Nickel. Both options stand up to the coastal environment better than standard blued steel, so you can carry with confidence whether you’re on the boat, at the range, or walking the beach. The base pad is black anodized aluminum — it won’t rust, and it blends right into the frame contour of your SA-35.
Reliable feeding is the whole point. These magazines are designed to feed consistently with quality domestic ammunition, which means less time clearing malfunctions and more time on target. The base pad features integrated grasping surfaces that make emergency extraction from the pistol quick and positive — a real advantage if you need to rip a stuck mag out under pressure.
