Description
If you’ve ever launched a spring or dropped a detent pin into the void of your workshop floor, you know the pain. That’s where the Apex Tactical Armorer’s Tray w/ Pin Punch — Polymer comes in. Made by Apex Tactical, this isn’t some flimsy catch-all. It’s a purpose-built polymer tray designed for armorers, gunsmiths, and anyone who works on their own pistols. At Sunshine Gun Shop, we keep these in stock because they flat-out work.
The tray measures 1.65 x 4.75 x 8.00 inches — compact enough to sit on a crowded bench but wide enough to catch what you’re pushing out. The lowered center section is the real trick: when you drive pins out of a Glock or Smith & Wesson frame, parts drop right into that channel instead of bouncing off into the abyss. A ring magnet on the underside grabs steel components once they’re out, so you’re not chasing roll pins across the garage. The polymer construction is tough but won’t mar your frame or slide, which matters when you’re working on a customer’s gun or your personal carry piece.
It pairs with the Apex Armorer’s Block (sold separately), but you can use it on its own just fine. The red polymer finish makes it easy to spot on a cluttered bench, and the included pin punch gives you a solid start for disassembly. This tray is compatible with a range of Glock and S&W model pistols, making it a versatile tool for routine maintenance or detailed builds.
Down here in Florida, we deal with heat, humidity, and sand. That means cleaning and servicing your firearms more often. This tray keeps your workspace organized and your parts where they belong — not lost in the dust. Whether you’re a shop armorer or a weekend tinkerer, it’s a practical addition to the bench that saves time and frustration.
